The Only Valuable Resources On Earth

I have realized in my short life that the more control you gain over your time, the more control you gain over your life. If you want to take charge of your life, take charge of your time. The more valuable you treat time, the more valuable your life becomes. And when you invest more time in whatever area of life that you want to become an operative figure or you want to become successful in, the more life gets better for you.
You also want to make sure that you invest time and not just spend time.

A while ago, I stumbled on an inspiring quote and it says: “Time is free but it is priceless. You can’t own it but you can use it. You can’t keep it but you can spend it. Once you have lost it, you can never get it back. - Harvey Markey

In my opinion, time is the only valuable resource on planet earth. Why? Because, once it is lost, it is irreplaceable. Every other material, resources, or financial resources can all be replaced depending on the number of other factors. But time is not something you want to joke with, even when it comes to business, investment, or whatever it is, we measure it by time.

You know, everything we do is a measurement against time - even if you measure the weight or quantity of a thing, it ends up measuring against time. For example, if you have a billion naira today compared to someone who had a billion naira thirty years ago, you will know that that money has lost value over time and that money was worth more thirty years ago than it is today.

And that shows that everything we measure against time gives us a clearer perspective.

I want to challenge you, as you enter into this week, maximize your time.

Take note of the exact things that matter to you this week - determine what will give you your highest sense of fulfilment, make that your goal, and commit to investing time in that same assignment. I can guarantee you if you do this consistently over the next thirty years, your life will be worth celebrating and not only will you be celebrating it but several other people will celebrate you.
